For Democrats, government is the solution for everything

Could the differences in philosophy be any more stark? Liberals love government, and keep piling more of it upon us. Conservatives love freedom from government. Polls are showing President Obama's big government policies are not popular with a majority of the American people. Independent voters are moving toward Republicans, as they watch warily while the Democrats grow the government.

Chris Stirewalt, political editor of the Washington Examiner, says this:
