The President's job approval rating hits a new low

President Obama's job approval number keeps dropping, while his disapproval number continues to climb. Even some of his former supporters are starting to turn on him. Rasmussen Reports polls only likely voters, which gives yet another indication of the difficult challenge Democrats will face in the 2010 midterm elections:

Overall, 42% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. That’s the lowest level of approval yet recorded for this president. Fifty-seven percent (57%) now disapprove.
