The President of Mexico, Felipe Calderon, came to our country and was entertained to a State Dinner by President Obama. Then, while addressing a joint session of Congress, the Mexican President complained about Arizona's new immigration law. What he didn't bother to mention is the treatment of migrants from Central America who are illegally in Mexico. But Amnesty International has something to say about it:
The Mexican authorities must act to halt the continuing abuse of migrants who are preyed on by criminal gangs while public officials turn a blind eye or even play an active part in kidnappings, rapes and murders, Amnesty International said in a new report released on Tuesday.
