Democrats concerned about lack of enthusiasm among younger voters

A majority of younger voters tend to vote Democratic, while older voters tend to vote Republican. Gallup says younger voters are generally less enthusiastic about voting in 2010 than they were in 2008:

Younger voters remain less enthusiastic about voting in this year's midterm elections than those who are older, underscoring the challenge facing the Democratic Party in its efforts to re-energize these voters, who helped President Obama win the presidency in 2008.
