Rather than being a unifier, the President is a divider

President Obama came into office having campaigned on promises to end the political and racial divides in this country. He said he would bring us all together, but the reality of his governance is that he is further dividing us.

Two Democratic pollsters, Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen, wrote an article for the Wall Street Journal that expresses their disappointment with the President:

Rather than being a unifier, Mr. Obama has divided America on the basis of race, class and partisanship. Moreover, his cynical approach to governance has encouraged his allies to pursue a similar strategy of racially divisive politics on his behalf.
