There was a time in this country when the so-called "mainstream" media would question everything. Of course that is when a Republican holds the highest office in the land. But now that they managed to get their favored candidate elected, they question nothing. It took Major Garrett of Fox News to ask a question about Sestak, as the last question of the press conference.
So while most of our "illustrious" media report whatever is fed to them without question, some parts of new media continue to do the job the rest of them won't do. Here is an editorial from the Washington Examiner, in which they make a point most other media will be happy to ignore:
It is simply illegal to offer a job to anybody in return for doing something designed to influence a congressional election, so the White House story fails both the legal and the giggle test.
