Texas Governor Rick Perry defeats Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison in primary

The more conservative candidate, Governor Perry, has defeated the more moderate candidate, Senator Hutchison. Her one time commanding lead in the polls evaporated, and Governor Perry took a commanding lead into the primary election. Now it's on to November, and another victory over the Democratic candidate. Here's what Senator Hutchison had to say in her concession speech, via CNN:

"Now we must unite," she said. "We must win Texas for Republicans."
