The President said we do not interfere in another country's internal affairs

Unless he's talking about Israel, that is. It is our government's policy that we do not interfere in Iran's internal affairs, as the President stated last year. But the President has no problem interfering in Israel's internal affairs, as Mike Pence (R-Indiana) points out, via Politico:

“The time has come for this administration to stop bullying Israel,” Pence said. “And the whole suggestion that the construction of settlements in undisputed areas of Jerusalem is somehow an affront to the United States or an affront to the peace process is absurd.”
