The Democrats would like to blame all conservative politicians and all conservative citizens for the inappropriate actions of a few morons. The Democrats rammed through their partisan bill, completely ignoring the voices of opposition. Then they wonder why there is anger over what they've done.
Joe Fitzgerald in the Boston Herald sums it up:
Americans will always have contentious debate over volatile issues, but at the end of the day we have time-honored ways to reach a consensus, which is what this president and this Congress totally disrespected, igniting a furious backlash.
