Partisanship is a good thing

The "system is broken" when Democrats have an unpopular agenda to ram down our throats. In reality, as columnist Ross K. Baker tells us via USA Today, partisanship is a good thing:

Partisanship in a democracy is not abnormal. It is essential. It presents citizens with alternatives, and when partisan differences are sharp, those alternatives are clearer.

Ours is an ingenious system that is working exactly the way it's supposed to work.
