Polls say conservatives are energized and more are likely to vote this year than in 2008, while many liberals who voted in 2008 say they are less likely to vote in 2010. This is an opportunity to take some seats in Congress that have long been held by Democrats. I'll start with California, where Senator Barbara Boxer is running for reelection this year:
From the Wall Street Journal:
Polls show Ms. Boxer is likely to have a fight on her hands to win a fourth term in November. Like other Democrats nationally, political observers said, the senator could face the wrath of voters concerned about the economy and government-spending initiatives that Ms. Boxer and others on Capitol Hill have championed. California also remains mired in an economic malaise, with an unemployment rate of 12.4%.
If you're in California and you're conservative, it's time to vote Senator Boxer out of office. This is the year it can happen. Let's make it happen!
I'll also be looking at other races around the country as we move towards November.
